At Mount Sinai, Israel made a covenant and received the Ten Commandments of the law.

시내산에서 이스라엘은 언약을 맺고 율법의 십계명을 받았습니다.

"And God spoke all these words"(Exodus 20:1)

"하나님이 이 모든 말씀으로 말씀하여 이르시되"(출애굽기 20장 1절)

"The words spoken thus by God" mark the beginning of God declaring the Ten Commandments to the Israelites.

"말씀하여 이르시되"는 하나님께서 이스라엘 백성들에게 율법의 십계명을 선포하기 시작한 것입니다.

Before giving the Ten Commandments, God first mentions who the subject of the commandments is.

하나님께서는 십계명을 주시기 전에 먼저 십계명의 주체가 누구인지 언급하고 있습니다.

"I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery." (Exodus 20:2)

"나는 너를 애굽 땅, 종 되었던 집에서 인도하여 낸 네 하나님 여호와니라"
